On the SE end of Amed, there is not a great deal going on in the immediate vicinity, but the terrific, spacious rooms and decent restaurant make this a place where you can happily stay within the hotel grounds. We had an issue with a major water leak in our room, symptomatic (along with tired bathroom fillings and dodgy water pressure) perhaps of the need on the part of he owners to spend a bit more on maintenance, but we were moved with a minimum of bother. Little touches like candles and incense in the rooms, a DVD library and complimentary afternoon tea lift the hotel above the rest.   "We loved Amed!!!! Great for relaxing, snorkling, the view on the vulcano, trips to Tirtangangga the Gili Islands,... Bubu Racok is a great place to stay! The rooms have AC and WIFI and they are very clean. You will find flowers everywhere (on the bed, the breakfast,...). The view is amazing (the ..."sea and the vulcano). On the first flour you have a little bit more privacy, but on the ground flour you can almost walk into the sea!!! We loved Wayan!   "Stayed here 1 night on our way to Gili Air and really liked it you are out of the way of Amed a bit but the restaurant is nice and food is good, our room was amazing stayed in number 4, staff were lovely, pool is awesome and right by the beach"
