Initially booked a room with an ocean view, we checked in and got a room with somewhat of an ocean view (far, between palm trees). So I was truly happy about it. The beach was somewhat overcrowded all the more and almost impossible to get a spot with an umbrella after 10am, so the trick was to spend the morning by the pool and the afternoon at the beach. Staff by the pool and at the beach were friendly and very attentive, the food was ok during the day with a good variety of choices.   "This resort is really spread out over many acres with an open air lobby and 4 pools. Really loved the fact that they have an adult serenity pool as well as a children's pool. Views are amazing! The last 4 days there have been sea turtles in the ocean in front of the pool. Having said that, that was totally down to us being unprepared as opposed to anything to do with the Fairmont. The room was ready a lot earlier than their normal check in time. From day one, we have been looked after day and night. The staff are friendly and genuinely love their jobs, making them approachable and informative. We had our civil ceremony and celebrated my birthday yesterday. They helped my husband plan everything and added so many nice little touches that even surprised my husband. I had an amazing day!
