The building is older, but in more of a historic way, not a run-down way. I was happy, however, with the bath and body works toiletries and the breakfast. The hotel has immaculate first rate rooms (actually all the "rooms" are two room suites). Our most recent visit was on our 26th wedding anniversary last week. Everyone on the staff was very cordial and helpful, as usual. We came in one night when the restaurant was closing, and were sitting on the patio, and I asked a waiter if we could get some coffee. He said they would make a new pot, and did, and didn't even charge us anything since the register was closed. The next day, our anniversary, we had breakfast on the patio, and I asked our waiter, Jerry, if he would mind bringing an anniversary card (that I handed him in private) out to my wife while we we...
