  "A beautiful house in a splendid location that made our holiday very memorable. The indoor heated pool was perfect in April despite the warm weather. The property is about 10 minutes below Gaucin village on a fairly rough track. Our 2 wheel drive car coped fine however."

  "We arrived in April to beautiful spring sun, we were told we had just missed 3 weeks of constant rain! We stayed in escamillos, which was perfect for our family of 3, and there would easily be space for a 4th child as the second room was a twin. We had a lovely terrace too but didn't use it much as access was via the master bedroom upstairs. Gaucin is a wonderful location but it takes a while to get anywhere outside the town because the roads are very wiggly as you'd expect in the mountains! Facilities in the apartment were great, although we had to go food shopping right away which can be difficult in gaucin as the shops don't open after siesta until 5pm. The only criticism of facilities would be that 5 euros to use the washing machine seemed a bit steep. The pool area was lovely and by the end if the week the water temp was up to 27, with the surrounding lounger area being a real sun ... " More >
