  "We stayed here for just a weekend for our anniversary and were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival (we were just relieved that the hotel refurb was finished to be honest!!). The place has gone through a complete overhaul in terms of modernisation and new decor. The rooms are small but adequate and..." it’s all very clean and new. We emailed in advance and asked for a double bed in a room on the 6th floor or above and we got twin beds on the 5th floor... so close but so far!!! ....Pretty annoying really when the hotel was only at about 50% capacity!!! Still, for what we paid it was good value. We were given a fruit plate for our anniversary, but we’d much rather have just had our room requests met!! Pool and terrace areas are lovely and the drinks prices are really reasonable here. The spa and indoor pool looked lovely – just wish we’d have had time to use them!
