This is a great hotel for all age groups children are well catered for as well as adults . The food was great Italian restaurant being our favourite . If I had to say one negative about the hotel I would suggest getting rid of old fashioned t.vs as makes the rooms look dated !!   "We visited The Alice Springs Hotel, for the 1st time, at the beginning of June. I can only echo all the fantastic reviews, which made us plump for this Hotel. Barbara & Elias made us feel so welcome, from arrival to departure. Nothing was too much trouble. My wife got a nasty bite & Elias found th..."e time, despite being one man down, to go to the Chemist and get us a better cream than we'd bought. He wouldn't take our money for it either. I really enjoyed the food at Alice Springs. My daughter would have ate there every night if she could. You could tell all the food has been made with pride & not just churned out. It's difficult to add anything different that's already been stated re this place. One thing which I hadn't read before, was the music around the pool. It was really nice, not too heavy or repetitive which matched the mood perfectly. We travelled with Thomson & paid for a private transfer but taxi to the airport is 35 euros, so I'd probably do that next time. I'm not sur... " More >

( not had this in any 5*!! ) now for the little polish....at other 5* hotels we've been to at check in the least we have been offered is a glass of chilled cava, here we we're given a glass of flavoured water. the food.. we were on a half board basis, was only to a 4* standard .breakfast was ok but to only have a type of squash not fresh juice and not to be able to...
