This is a very unassuming restaurant. It is on the small side. As you walk in you notice that you can have your food sitting on a bar stool alongside other diners (great if you fancy something quick). I did not really know what to expect as I was taken here by some local colleagues. But as with most things... More

Tokyo was an unexpected city to find superb, reasonably priced South Indian food. It is in a bustling atmospheric room - I'd advise making a reservation. The food was top notch - fresh and flavoursome. In fact some of the best I've eaten and a place I will always return to whenever in Tokyo!

The South Indian food was really very good. The best thing about the meals is, they make alterations for vegetarians! The thing is, they give the original taste. The masala dosas are yumm! Must visit restaurant if you are looking for authentic South Indian food.

Dhaba India serves up delicious and authentic south-indian food; there are a number of set menus including veg and meat versions as well as those including dosas. The basic 1600 yen 'thali' is pretty good value and includes 3 curries (veg, chicken & prawns) as well as sambar, salad, rice, a poori, a poppodom and a sweet (an excellent version... More

They place serves decent food, but simply CAN NOT live upto its standard as the best Indian food in Tokyo which I have heard from various sources. The food as I said is above average; some dishes are really authentic, however for the purposes of an intentional negative review, I will list down the flaws. Limited open hours: Closes at... More

Absolutely wonderful food and service. If you are looking for Indian food in Tokyo, don't miss this place. Their Dosa and Tandoori Cauliflower are the best. This place is a little hard to find, but look for the Meiji Office near Yaesu exit of the Tokyo station OR near Kyobashi subway exit 5.

We had an absolutely wonderful South Indian vegetarian meal at Dhaba India , Tokyo recently. Service was very good and the food was superb. Masala dosa and uthappam were the best I have had outside India. Vegetarian Thali served on a banana leaf was wonderful and kulfi was as good as any I have had anywhere. ---- Jeevan Joshi.

Huge English menu with generally very tasty Indian fare. Good gluten free option in downtown Tokyo.

Hard to find, worth the effort. Real southern Indian food at good prices. greasy floor (watch out) adds to the authenticity. The tea tarik and kulfi are very good.
