We had chicken curry, lemon chicken, sizzling beef etc. The steaks are very expensive. We did not try the seafood here. We expected more delicious taste for the price and the ambience... but food was average quality and quantity.

We visited the Putumayo two times and tried several dishes. Quality and taste of all dishes we ordered was excellent and served by a very friendly and attentive staff who also advise and recommend on their selection in the menu. We had two wonderful evenings there and definitely would return, definitely a worth additional visits.

The calamari is lovely and the fish curry! The duck and the steak were not great! Quite expensive as well!! Good service and nice staff, restaurant and toilets are clean.

Putumyo is must when in Lagkawi as the food is only surpassed by the service provided. Special mention to Bashi, Aay Tao and Away all are very attentive and give the right advice on dishes on offer.

Went to restaurant on strength of reviews as a treat. Bit of a disappointment. Had mains and drinks. Came to approx 60MR. Food was acceptable but nothing special. Staff attentive. Not much atmosphere and very hot sat outside in the evening. The restaurant looks nice and classy , but beyond that- not sure what the fuss is about.

Nice looking restaurant and good service. However, food we ordered was very average. My husbands duck was not very tasty and the skin was greasy instead of being crisp. Putumayo has a nice ambience and it was walkable from the resort we stayed(Meritus Pelangi). To start with, the girl at the front of the house was really helpful as we were going through the menu. We enjoyed the food at this restaurant and found the staff very helpful. We ate here twice and each time our meals were very good. We particularly liked the sweet and sour....also the prawn dishes. The girl at 'front of house' was very helpful and not pushy.
