As I was staying at the hotel, it was easier to eat in the restraunt. Food was excellent and well presented. £20 for two courses may seem a little high for those on a budget, but nevertheless, its of high standard.

We booked into Caddon View following the great reviews on here and it was as wonderful as people said. Excellent food at fair prices with plenty to choose from on the menu. Clean and efficient service with a good break in between courses, with coffee back in the lounge area. Steve certainly is a good chef with a great knowledge of local produce.

Excellent food and service. Reasonable prices. Everything from Vegan to Venison, something for everyone.

Dinner was a wonderful surprise; beautifully presented and prepared to perfection. Steve is an amazing chef and Lisa is a delightful host.

Limited menu, with meat, fish and vegetarian mains, but all cooked beautifully to order and well presented. Highly recommend
