One of the best restaurants and reasonably priced restaurants in Praslin. Reservation is highly recommended for dinner. Still you may have to wait for too long to get the service. It's not easy to find a decent restaurant in the Seychelles, but we ate at La Goulue twice and all felt the food was very good, flavourful and not extremely over-priced.

Great food ,but poor design of the restaurant. column in the middle of the table! and column-free tables are always reserved.

My husband and I ate here for lunch. The food was okay but not great-much like any other restaurant we ate at on Praslin. Nothing fantastic, but nice service and decent prices. I had the chicken curry, and the chicken was a bit dry. My husband had a fish steak that was a bit undercooked.

We had dinner at La Goulue twice and enjoyed it a lot. They serve the best octopus curry we tried in Seychelles, and the whole grilled parrot fish was divine. Prices are very reasonable. La Goulue is on the road across from Anse Volbert and as such provides an ideal location for either lunch or a latter meal after a day of basking in the Sun. Service was quite good as was the food. Their menu is pretty standard for the Seychelles - a lot of curries, fish and chips etc. Menu is the same for lunch and supper. I would recommend it more for lunch.
