We ate three times here during our 2 week stay in Sept, the food was delicious, the service very friendly, couldn't fault it.
Fantastic place right on the beach front. Watch the sun going down at night it's simply amazing! Stunning views. The food is also fantastic, if you go later in the season as we did (mid Oct) you may need to order some of the lamb dishes as they take around 4 hours to cook. The authentic greek dishes here are... We used Thalassa's sunbeds on the beach which are free if you use the restaurant. Lunches were great, 2.50 euros for a pita gyros, 3 euros for chicken souvlaki pita. We also visited in the evening, fabulous kolokithokeftedes (courgette fritters) and gigantes for starters. Kokkinisto for mains-beautiful. One of our favourite restaurants, we'll be back next year!!
$14 Euros for stone baked pizza with chosen toppings and 1/2 caraf of vino... Greek salad very nice and clean restuarant.. contemplated going again...
We went to Thalass on our first night as it had been recommended on Tripadvisor. The Sunset was fantastic but the food did not quite come up as expected. The Greek Meze for two which ordered would have easily fed four. But, we thought that the main meals were disappointing, compared to other meals we had during the holiday.
For meat lovers, try their Kokonisto - beef stew with 4 cheeses. Delicious. Wood fired pizzas are great and fantastic value. Dennis is very friendly. A beautiful tavern on the beach front to watch the sunsets!
Although I have visited Agios Gordios many times this was my first visit to Thalassa. I had heard so many excellent reports about them, I just had to make a visit. After last nights meal it will certainly not be the last. First class service and first class food. Sorry about the quality of photo, it was only after eating... More
Very good Greek food restaurant right on the beach. Ideal place to sit, relax with a glass or two of wine and watch the sun sink into the sea. Friendly and accommodating staff and competitive prices. I imagine it would be very busy in the summer - but was less so in Sept as the holiday season draws to a... More
Difficult to see how this restaurant could be bettered and it should be number 1 in Agios Gordios. I have a Greek-Cypriot background and have been cooking on a BBQ for over 40 years, and I can tell you that the food is cooked to perfection in the wood-fired oven or charcoal-fired BBQ. There is a huge range of dishes... More
