This is as authentic as you'll find in the tourist area of Kata. Go here for sunset and enjoy the view, followed by dinner! Reasonable prices and nice atmosphere. This place was so popular someone built an adjacent restaurant on each side of it, we didn't try those, so be sure to go to After Beach.

On the road just south of Kata, this can be found looking over the bay. Awesome views on the veranda perched above the hillside drop. Food was just average, but with those views, who cares!

Went here after a long day out on a speedboat, food was plentiful and tasted great.the service was very good and the view over Kata Noi beach incredible. For four persons we had at least 8 food dishes and over 12 drinks plus a bottle of wine. All for 4000 baht great great value. Only downside was the restroom quality.... More

Based on what we heard from others, my wife and I visited here on 5/30/13. We walked up the 20 minutes or so from our hotel to try to catch the sunset. Unfortunately, it was just cloudy enough on the horizon that we didn't get to see much of a sunset. However, the view is still great and it's a... More

The fruitshakes at this place is nice. If you want a nice view of the sunset go here on a cloudless night. The food is okey but not great. The prices has increased a bit over the years also but the fruitshakes and the view is worth a visit.

We went here twice during our stay. Both times we had great service and views over the beach. Drinks and food are cheap although we only had spring rolls and chicken satay appetisers. Spring rolls and sweet chili sauce were to die for! Would have loved to go for dinner one night to watch the sunset but we had a... More

Each time we go to Phuket we go to the After Beach Bar. Great food and drinks and excellent tables on the outside deck to watch the spectacular sunsets. We've been to Promthep Cape but it does get very crowded. The After Beach Bar is just out of Kata on the way to Karon View Point. Parking is a little... More

Two of us called in for a light lunch ... Pad Thai and a beer each. Very cheap and quite tasty. The service was a little iffie with the young guy serving seeming a real beginner ... I guess everyone has to start sometime :-) Only 4 in the entire restaurant at 1230pm, but it is the off season. Car... More
