I know there are mixed reviews of Jambalaya Cafe in Port Barton, but my girlfriend and I loved it. While the atmosphere was a little unusual, we found it very inviting and and fun as well as romantic. I hope the owners will not change a thing. There are many postings of their philosophy on life displayed on the walls... More

The menu is limted. The night we ate there you could have jambalaya or you could one of two kinds of grilled with with a side of jambalaya and sauteed veggies. The jambalaya was 270 peops and was pretty good, but really was too much of a good thing; I would preferred a smaller serving with some veggies on the... More

Went with a friend and we both had jambalaya. The prices in general are a bit steep but if all the dishes are as big as this one, i'd be happy to pay a bit of extra. The the taste was very good as well. The atmosphere in general was nice and the waitress was nice and friendly. A lot... More

I just finished eating here. I had a garlic bread and pastalaya which is like a jambalaya but made with pasta instead of rice. Both were nice. The waitress was efficient. While waiting for my meal I opened a box named tourist info. Inside was an 11 page rant about people who have wronged them. Firstly they attack their neighbour... More

Hey, we remember you! You were alone and looked very unhappy with yourself, and did not seem to be enjoying your travels here in the Philippines. You had very dirty finger nails; you did not wash your hands before you ate. (What a shame you were gullible enough to bend over and become friends with the ‘White Belly Rat,’ how... More

"The only thing sad about our amazing location in the middle of the magnificent beach on planet Port Barton, is that we currently have (the reviewer) as a neighbour! This pathetic runt of a so-called man’s attempts to integrate with the local community have proved to be nothing but laughable. No future." im the one of them you said no... More

The smear campaign continues,,, It is blindingly obvious to any pre-school educated person, that you have completely misunderstood my comments, they were not aimed at you, at all. They were aimed directly at my neighbor from hell, the sunken ‘Keith Dudley’ (the guy who is responsible for all these negative nasty reviews here on tripadvisor). You have been misinformed. You... What a strange place, they do have excellent cold beer and 2 pretty waitresses. The food is spicy fish and not much else. The decor is strange, lots of what seem to be mottos and criticisms. The owner and his woman seem on a different planet to most people, the guy specially seems out of his tree, sad because they... More

I visited Port Barton many times in the last 4 years and i usually ate at this restaurant called Judy's where i found the food to be fairly priced with a great service from the friendly staff. One day i went to Jambalaya to try something different...i went inside the small cozy place and the first thing that caught my... More

The smear campaign continues,,, like a lamb to the slaughter, whoever posted this review has not only embarrassed themselves, but also the local Filipino community of Port Barton. This review clearly violates many TripAdvisor review guidelines/rules. We love Port Barton and ALL the folk who proudly call it home. We are a successful, highly respected and established business here Port... More

Went there with a friend of mine Nov 2011. At first look it's a cozy place with atmosphere. But when you get closer you'll notice it's built like a fortress, with locked gate. Inside all the walls and even the ceiling is plastered with signs like "what is worst, the local expats or pedophiles?". It's like the owners are at... More
