“Decent fish”

This place looked like it would have a great atmosphere but was worth only one visit. We had a fish plate for two and they adjusted it for gluten free. The mussels, scallops and oysters were excellent but the salad was basic and the fish was dry. Overall, we were a little disappointed.

We loved our dinner at Tumunu restaurant. Good service and great atmosphere. We enjoyed the lights that surrounded us and the little guest that joined us (the gecko's).

Great laughs to be had at the Tumunu. The atmosphere is great and there is so much to look at and laugh at. The staff are friendly too

We had not eaten out on our recent visit to Rarotonga. So pleased we picked the Tumunu. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. The pepper fish was excellent, big portion size. We went to this place for dinner one night and was refused service by the guy behind the bar because it was 8:00pm and appatently that's to late to serve us.

Kia orana Thankyou for your comments. Unfortunately during the quieter off season period in the Cooks many restaurantas and eateries do close very early. This is why ther eis a general policy throughout this quieter time of the year, to recommend reservations. Accommodators are well aware of this. Had the seafood platter for 2 which was so big, we couldn't eat all of it. For $75 it was well worth it.
