We ate here twice during our recent week in Dartmouth. On both occasions we were made to feel very welcome and shown to a quiet corner where we could enjoy our food and hold a conversation without being disturbed by the busy and very crowded bar. The food was served promptly by a friendly waiter and, as another reviewer has... More

We have, on a number of occasions attempted to sample the "raved about" delights of this establishment. Each time we visited we were ignored. Could not even obtain service at the bar. Perhaps it's the type of afershave I use. Have decided to never again waste my time attempting to either drink or dine at this establishment

Food superb - pie night on Wednesdays are highly recommended! A great local; friendly regulars, landlord hugely interesting with sailing records.... Dogs made welcome. Made our holiday.

We found this place on the way back from a holiday, we showed up unplanned at 5pm with 2 dogs and they couldnt have been more helpful. Perfect room, outdoor seating, friendly locals, the best meal of the whole trip and they went out of their way to help us. Will definately be returning and recommend to all. 5*

Though nothing particularly wrong with the outside of this pub, once inside, we immediately felt we'd stumbled on lovely pub and great find, particularly after a long walk. Seemed popular with locals and tourists alike. Dog friendly (they have a very nice friendly German Shepherd & I think a black lab). Roaring fire, cozy corner with magazines (toys if visiting... More

I've used this place as a 'destination inn' on many walks from Dartmouth - its the only real ale pub in Stoke Fleming, and the lucky locals benefit from several excellently kept local beers (Often Otter), a proper old bar with a log fire in the corner, a cosy dining room and a sheltered beer garden overlooking the church. The... More

Quaint old ancient English pub set in a quiet village surrounded by beautiful rural scenery. Good selection of beers and wines with the opportunity for visitors to eat either in the bar or in a more formal restaurant area. Food was excellent and the place can be thoroughly recommended.

Set in the heart of a quaint yet active village, the Green Dragon brings back memories of the 1970s when I used to holiday locally. Good mix of locals and tourists. Nice selection of ales and always a wide variety of delicious, home cooked food. Well worth a visit!

Just what a pub should be. Good ambiance. Welcome fire in winter. Good pub food. Popular with locals and visitors.

Loved this Pub. Yes it is very dark inside with a big fireplace and a dog sleeping beside it. Low ceilings. Feels like a really old pub but I loved it!. The food is fantastic. We even went back a second night on 'Pie Night' which I believe is Wednesday night. We went early as we were warned that there... More
