We ate here as part of our excursion on the Chocolat. I cannot speak to the price of the food, as it was included with the cost of our excursion. The food was good though. My husband had ribs and I had chicken. Both were tasty and were served with rice, green salad and pasta salad. There was even a... More

The setting is priceless. Pictures do not do this tiny island justice. The lobster and crayfish were out of this world. While we were relaxing on the beach, all afternoon local people would come in by boat for lunch. It was incredible.

unless you want to be RIPPED OFF and by ripped off I mean be asked to pay $20 PER DRINK at the end of your time in this crappy island where you are brought and stranded then so not go there. We were told by our hotel's concierge that this would be a fun day trip so we rented a... More

This was just excellent! The food was amazing!! The only reason I have it a 4 on food was because we went for the lobster and crawfish and they ran out! But yet two parties came in after us and had lobster and crawfish (we were told they pre-reserved so next time we will try that!) The atmosphere of the... More

From the beginning of the short journey to the end our day was fabulous, filled with local tasty fresh food. To get there look up Sandy Island on the web and give them a call to reserve a ride on the happiness or the bliss , it is only a 10.00 ride each way per person a lot more affordable... More

Very fresh seafood; the lobster is a must. There were a lot of locals at Sandy Isand which has to mean the food is good

We rode over on Calypso. We had crayfish, lobster, ribs and chicken for 6 with drinks. Tab $1000+. Everything was good, service too. Great experience but probably would not do again given the tab.

This island is small, I mean really small, and beautiful- more like a mirage. The restaurant IS the island but what a destination. Amazing that a full service restaurant can function on this tiny dot of sand (can't imagine the work involved getting electricity, running water, flush toilets, etc out there). Anyway, we feasted on fresh grilled fish, chicken, lobster,... More

Did the Sandy Island trip from Frangipani and we were very pleased with the food on Sandy Island. I wasn't expecting much based on its location but it really exceeded our expectations and was delicous.

We haven't been to Sandy Island in many years so we thought we'd try it again. We were shuttled out to the island from Sandy Ground, which was a nice short boat ride. When we got to the restaurant it wasn't that busy. I tried to get a regular Coke, but they didn't have any; the bartender/manager? said that some... More
