This is a roadside stand with nothing but plastic tables for serving and big open grills. The ribs were literally the best we have ever eaten...anywhere. the dry rub was perfect. Ken's (didn't even know the name until I saw it here) is a barbecue stand situated in the Valley. I had the barbecued chicken leg which had a delectable smokey taste. Make you way into the Valley when they're open (check schedule) generally during the day on weekends. Take out or eat there. Ribs, chicken, dry rub plus sauce if you want. Garlic bread, johhny cakes, cold beer. What's better than that!

Ken's Pork is located in The Valley under canvas. The barbeque runs on limited days - I think only Friday and Saturday - you must make a visit. Ken's pork is a little stand just off the main drag. It was hard for me to find until I realized that I needed to take a right at the People's Market. We got a load of food for $20, and it was delicious! The rib and chicken combo was the best and the grilled baguette garlic bread.

Good food and nice sauce for chicken and ribs. Constant flow of locals stopping for food was the sign to stop and enjoy.

Chicken, ribs, Johnny cakes, slaw with some kicking hot sauce, can't be beat. And it won't break the bank. Either grab some to go or share a table with the locals.

Ken's looks like a place you would drive by and miss, and if you drove by you would definitely miss out! A tiny 3 foot sign is the only way we knew we were at the right place. Not fine dining, but nonetheless very good roadside BBQ and worthy of its position here inthe AXA restaurant rankings, all things considered. Better than most others that I have sampled on AXA (or other Caribbean islands, for that matter). Does a brisk business, with the vast majority of the customers being locals.
