Arrival day lunch here is a tradition- restaurant was just remodeled and looks clean and fresh. Food at it's usual good standard.
We had breakfast here one morning. There are a lot of opinions, from savory to sweet. It is not a fancy restaurant, but a nice way to start the morning by sitting outside and enjoying the weather. I would definitely eat here again.
Offers wonderful variety of both American and Dutch breakfasts, lunches, dinners. I had a Dutch Pancake with candied walnuts, honey, peaches and bananas. Light and yummy. Coffee was great and had continuous free refills. Orange juice was fresh squeezed . Servers were knowledgeable, attentive a friendly. I would return and suggest to others.
We stayed 10 days in Aruba and I'm sure anyone knows there are multitudes of places to eat in Aruba. All the food was good, BUT this is the one restaurant that we kept going back to! Our waitresses each time were wonderful! We especially love the young lady from Holland attending school in Aruba! We wish you lots of... More
We read the reviews...just had to try it for ourselves. The pancakes are more like giant, plate-size crepes as opposed to pancakes in the States. Not what I was expecting. The syrup was like honey; but the coffee was good. If this restaurant was on my bucket list..it's off now. Dutch Pancake House isn't someplace I would visit on my... More
We discovered the Dutch Pancake House on our second to last day last year and for the last year this is all we have thought about. We are going back to Aruba next month and literally cant wait. We loved it so much that we actually bought each other the Dutch Pancake pans for Christmas. It was hysterical when we... More
Firstly I rarely rate places 5 of 5. Which means 4 of 5 is really good. We stopped by The Dutch Pancake House the morning we decided to go Downtown for shopping. We went to Aruba during the Jazz Festival so there was some entertainment out from of the restaurant. On a weekend without an event it would be a... More
This eatery is located at the end of the shopping plaza adjacent to the marina downtown. They have a large menu of Dutch-style pannekoken (large, round crepes) with dozens of different savory or sweet toppings. They also serve American-style breakfast dishes (eggs, bacon, etc.). The Dutch pancakes are very similar to what you would find in Amsterdam. I enjoyed a... More
We had been meaning to try this restaurant for breakfast and are glad we were finally able to. We were caught in a down pour and scrambled to get cover. The staff couldn't have been nicer getting us a nice table away from the rain. We ate outdoors under the awning and enjoyed delicious crepes and coffee. New to us... More
