Nice service, friendly owner and a pretty good cheese steak. Burgers looked good and the beer was cold.

We had a view of the vibrant Bonaire sunset, cold beer, and delicious pizza made in the open kitchen just behind us; what more could we want?! As it turned out--nothing--it was all we needed as the food was delicious, service friendly and prompt, and the views pleasant!
We ate at the Rumba Cafe on the 1st night. The food was good, inexpensive and there was plenty of it. I don't like walking away from a restaurant hungry & I didn't.
We had breakfast here almost every day we were visiting Bonaire Island. They had, without a doubt, the best fresh fruit salad I have ever had! It is huge! Good spot to have lunch or just get a refreshing Mango smoothie in the heat of the day. Avoid going on cruise ship days as the cafe gets really busy.
We like Rumba for breakfast, their American is huge...if you leave this place hungry you need to see a doctor. Great location on the waterfront.
Came here on a Sunday night when everything else we were planning to check out was closed. Good location in town center, with water views. Service was excellent, the food quite good. There are nicer dining options within a couple of minutes walk but I wouldn't mind coming back for lunch or a quick dinner.
We love Bonaire and we love Rumba cafe. Simple food in a simple outdoor atmosphere. Owner greets and waits the tables. Very proud, obviously, of his place. Delicious fresh fish cooked to perfection served with fries. Hamburgers good as well. They don't try to be anything that they are not. Other places have fancier surroundings and service, but for pure...

I had the special, which was mahi-mahi and shrimp. I had plenty of food, and it was good value,. The fish could have been a little tastier, and our waiter could...
