St. Germain Bistro & Cafe is a nice little corner place in old San Juan with healthy and fresh food. Although I love anything fried, local Puerto Rican food was a bit too fried even for me, so this was a welcome break with large & creative salads, tasty sandwiches, agua frescas, & amazing desserts. The lunch combo is a... More

My wife and I went for lunch with our one year old baby. The staff was very nice and even bought a book for our son to read. We both got sandwiches and the food was fresh and prepared to order. The ginger lemonade was refreshing on a hot day. We both will be back and definitely recommend it to... More

They really just do it right here. They do very little meat and LOTS of veggies, but man....is it FRESH!! You can taste the love and passion in everything we ate. Even the salad was awsome. My brother fell in love with the waitress, but thats a different story..LOL. I wasn't looking forward to going here, but my husband insisited... More

Had a lovely lunch here on my recent vacation. Food was delicious - had the apple iced tea and the Arabian Sandwich. Service was attentive. Mix of locals and tourists, which was nice. I wasn't rushed at all. I wish I lived near this place.

Great brunch (food and drinks) for a $18 saturdays and sundays! The guava mimosas are a must have. Service was nice, and fast, food came out promptly. Check it out if in the area.

As it has been noted, this place is great. I also want to add some about the mezzanine up stairs from the bistro. They have a killer happy hour from 4-8 with half price appetizers, select cocktails and house wine. It's a great deal. The apps are really good and they make a real out of control Manhattan. Went several... More

Our hotel (El Convento) directed us to this cozy chic relaxed bar spot above the bistro. Our request - proper cocktails and light tapas. Experience - PERFECT! We are cocktail snobs (i.e. proper gin martinis thank you, no sugary, fufu drinks) and this place delivered. It's a very small space with comfy chairs and loads of charm. Adding to the... More

Hi nop, This is Francheska Ríos from The Mezzanine in Old San Juan. Firstly, thank you SO much for the great 5 star review you wrote about us on TripAdvisor! The only thing is, your review is actually posted to St Germain's profile page, and though it's the same owner, the two businesses have separate profile pages since they are... More

First tip: get here early. At least for lunch. We came in 11.35 and within 30 minutes the place was filled up. Had very tasty sandwiches made with fresh bread and a good green salad on the side. Bevare of the ceiling fan that could create a draft for a couple of tables in the main room. Fair prices.
