Owner/ operator of this establishment has a captive audience of airport patrons; however, he does not let this fact lead to the neglect of the level of service, cheerfulness, fun, and deliciousness of the Isla Nena Cafe. Prices are very reasonable for Vieques. The food is not gourmet, but it is just right for the setting. Good burgers and other... More

We arrived early to check in to our flight and decided to grab a quick bite. The food wasn't phenomenal but it definitely hit the spot. I think for 3 breakfast sandwiches and sodas it was around $30. I would come back on my next visit!

If you're passing by on 200 or have time before your flight it's a decent place to go. Staff was friendly but prices didn't match their food. Our $40+ lunch, in my mind, was worth more like $20. Lots of other options and we wouldn't go here again.

Stopped by for lunch one day cause we read reviews on the place and let me tell you, I'm so glad we did! The pulled pork sandwich is SOOOOO good! It's a great value, with huge portions and really good slaw. Very friendly people as well. My only beef was there are Green Bay Packer banners over the bar...that's hard... More

We grabbed quick food to go as we were running late for our flight and we were starving. They made our food in less than 5 minutes and even accommodated one of us that could not eat dairy (Greek salad without feta). Super friendly people, great conch fritters and a nice greek salad! Wish we had time to sit and... More

While there is no decor to speak of, the friendliness of the bartender, Lymon, welcomes you into the island spirit. We stopped here for a drink while waiting for our ride. We wound up having a delicious lunch of conch fritters, a veggie black bean mango wrap and pulled pork sandwich. Strong drinks and good company started our trip to... More

Wow, what a surprise. This deserves all the rave reviews. We had amazing fried dumplings and a chicken wrap before catching our plane. I wish we had stopped by sooner, but it definitely makes leaving the island a little easier to have something to look forward to.

Fantastic food, great drinks, excellent service, and a diverse ever-changing crowd. Being located at the airport, there is really no excuse for skipping this Vieques treasure on your way onto or off of the island and the pulled pork sandwich was delicious enough to ensure that I stopped by a few times in between. The guy who runs it is... More
