This is a bizarre looking restaurant with poor service and food that is fair at best. They are supposed to have live music but there was none on the Saturday night we were there. With our party of 4 there were, perhaps, 10 patrons but the service was unbelievably slow. When we finished our appetizers the waitress asked if we... More

strange decor, great kitchen pumping out good food amongst the silly entertainment.... worth the trip ashore from our boat for a land meal

Awesome experience! highly recommended, loved every minute of my evening.. The ferry was fun (specially with heels on) and picked us up promptly from Trellis Bay. The slow roast pork belly was melt in your mouth, as was the homemade banana ice cream.

If you want a true Tortolan experience please try this restaurant. If you are not on a boat you just call the restaurant from the beach and they send a boat for you! The restaurant is clean and friendly with a varied menu. Our party all had different meals and we all agreed the food was excellent. The staff were... More

My husband and I went to The Last Resort for dinner last night after a very busy month at work. The meal was, as usual, ok. The service was terrible though. They were busy so we were expecting it to be slow. What we weren't expecting however, was to be told by our young waiterhow we should be eating our... More

This is a place that everyone recommends in that region of the BVI. It's on an island so you need to call the restaurant to come get you on a ferry. The ferry that showed up was basically a bucket with a motor. It was windy that evening and half the guests got soaked on the way to dinner. The... More

Last Resort is a memorable experience. They pick you up at the dock in Trellis Bay with their house boat which is a true Bahamian style boat. The food is fantastic...fun band and entertainment. Be aware of the tipping instructions by the staff though.

Great atmosphere for the area, set up by the boat ride to the island restaurant. Live music at night, wifi, the uniqueness of the restaurant on an island by itself served only by boat, all help make the experience of this restaurant a must have if studying in the area. Great menu and good food as well, and they take... More

We recently spent 2 weeks visiting friends and family on Tortola. We ate in several restaurants including "The Dove" and "Brandywine Bay". At the Last Resort we felt, without a doubt, that the quality of the food, the cooking, the friendliness of all the staff, the value for money, and the atmosphere was unrivalled by any other restaurant that we... This place was great. There is some appeal to a restaurant that stands alone on an island. You have to call the "ferry" to come get you from the dock. I use ferry loosely, as it is a beat-up boat. But, it floats, so it'll do! The service was good. They have good drink specials. We all really liked our... More
