We like to always try the restaurants that all of the locals go to and Palm's Delight rates highly among the Belongers of Tortola. The location is right next to the water and you can sample Roti, fish, honey stung chicken and my favorite, Ginger wine chicken. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous.

This is a busy local spot, with not much staff. The fish of the day is usually a whole one, bones and all, but delicious. Fried is best. Service is slow and slower, but right on the edge of the water with a great view. A good value, as all restaurants have gone up in price.

My husband read in a guidebook that this restaurant was good, with authentic island food. So, we ordered pan seared grouper for dinner. Well, it came poached, smothered in a cream sauce.....apparently attempting to camouflage the UFO, (Unknown Fish Origin), because it was not grouper. No music, a TV/news was on. Um.....No!

This was a recommendation from our hotel, and it was right on. Nothing fancy, no pretense, but very good food at a reasonable price.

Simple local food, done well. Stayed up the road on Cappoon Bay. Manager directed us to this place, stressing local food. Local spot on the water which gives you spectacular sunsets over St Thomas. Go for the dish that made the restaurant famous, the ginger wine chicken, but try out the roti selection. Always a great dining experience. No problems with credit cards during our visit.

everything was going well- delicious homemade biscuits, conch fritters were seasoned really nicely, and everyone was satisfied with their entree. service was pretty good, and the beers were cold and always full. we were appreciative, gracious guests, and everyone was enjoying a perfectly nice evening... sadly, when i went to pay my tab, i was delighted to see they accepted...
