I would have to say that the best part of my visit to Jack's was the digging dogs. Nothing bad to say here but my visit was just average. Food was ok and drinks were nothing special. Limited menu, and in my opinion, the time it took to get my food while waiting in line was a bit much. I... More

I was in Grand Turk on April 17, 2012, while on a cruise with the Carnival Miracle. Knowing that I didn't want to spend my day on Grand Turk with the couple thousand of people that got off the ship, I did my research ahead of time and found out about Jack's Shack. When getting off the ship, facing Margaritaville,... More

We just spent an entire week on the Turk Island (at the Crabtree Apartments) where as most people come in for a few hours from the cruise ship. Besides Margaritaville (since we wanted only island experiences) we visited every restaurant on the island. Jack's Shack was the best place to eat by far on the island. The drinks were STRONG,... what a great place! Jack and his wife tend bar and have a liberal hand with their pours, as well as COLD beer on the beach. Plenty of beach right there and the perfect place for a cheeseburger in paradise! The jerk is absolutely killer and well worth the prices. Fries are better than most in the States! make sure... More

Not much to do but snorkel scuba and relax on the beach on this island. Jacks is the best spot by far to hang out. Great day! My only complaint is that all they had to eat left was hot dogs and burgers. We were told by our not very happy waitress "no fish, no jerk chicken". We were so... More

This place gets business because the local dive companies drop off their customers here. They were out of the local favorite--fried conch? and the local fish--was fried catfish!!! could have been bought at Sam's club. Oh, and the local beer was $2 more per beer here than at the next shack up the beach. The bar tenders and staff were... More

We were in Grand Turk in November of 2011 and spent the day at Jack's shack. It's nice that you can rent snorkel equipment, grab a beverage and lunch all in one spot. WE were at Grand Turk as a cruise stop. We did not eat at Jack's only had snacks. Watching Jack's job Topher was fun. We never saw... More

Everything from the food, service, and atmosphere - this place is NOT to be missed. Bring cash, they won't accept debit/credit card transactions under $20.00. But if you're not spending at least $20, you're not having enough fun! Skip Margaretville and head to Jacks! More

We were there Mar.3, 2012. Met Jack and his wife. Really nice people. Try the Turk's Head beer, light and amber. The jerk chicken was fabulous. The water views were breathtaking. Never had seen water so blue and turquoise More
