One of our favorites, we always go to Uncle Joe's. The ribs and the chicken are very good; we ordered one dinner of each and then shared them, along with very good slaw, and mild rice, which is perfect with the meat. It was a little too saucy ( not hot, volume-wise), but still very good. We didn't see Uncle... More

Cheap and delicious, what more could you want? Ribs were fall off the bone good and everything else was pretty good as well. Fellas if your female companion is going crazy at the shops and you need a good/cheap meal to help offset the damage this your place!

Uncle Joe's tastes as good as it smells. Great Bar-B-Q with friendly service. We try to go at least twice during our stay.

...well, no, but after a day of hiking and the beach, it is pretty darn close! This was the only place on St. John that we ate at more than once on our stay. And again, it was not the best food we had, either. But it is good, cheap, and fairly quick. The two ladies working (never saw Uncle... More

Joe's is the one thing that has been a constant over the ten or so times I have visited St. John over the past fifteen years. Whenever I leave, it's the one meal I can't stop thinking about until I get back there next. Joe's does only a few things, and what they do, they excel at. I'm personally a... More

Great food, reasonable prices for St John, and wonderful people watching. Large portions and "to go" is available.

A little shack of a place but who cares. The food platters were delish. Sometimes you just can't look around places like this. Just focus on the food. Don't miss it.

My favorite place for ribs on St.John. I usually place my order for ribs, then go across the street and get a BBC from the smoothie stand while the ribs are cooking.

$14 for three ribs and two sides? even for USVI that's outrageous. go to the barefoot cowboy instead.

My mom is from the south so I've had a lot of bbq in my day. This wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. Overall I was a little disapointed.
