You must try this place if you go to Great Exuma. Very romantic, excellent service, great food. Don't worry about the prices; if you made it all the way down there is because you have some money.

We waited an hour after we ordered to get our main dish. I actually was able to walk the dock and look at the boat out of bordom. The food was better than average, except my wife's shrimp was cold. It must have waited for my chicken. The service was ok at the table but they must have a problem...

We ate here twice. When we did get the food, it was good.
However, they were out of MANY menu items both nights. We asked for bread both times and both times were told it was out of stock. I had just been at the Exuma Market and saw lots of variety of breads. A simple trip to their own...

We dined at Bamboo Bistro in June 2012. We took advice of other reviews and made a reservation. Turns out we were the only ones there! Food was a bit pricey just like all restaurants in the Bahamas. They were out of a few menu items. Service was excellent - as it should be since we were the only diners....

Great supper at the Bistro on our recent trip. The food was sensational, (who would have thought you could get exceptional rack of lamb in the Bahamas!), and the atmosphere was great. There were a few mosquitos buzzing about, but the staff was very attentive and supplied OFF to those in need! Woudl certainly recommend to anyone looking for a...

I called on a Sunday to make reservations and the recording clearly said that they were open "Sunday through Saturday at six-o'clock" and to leave a message with the reservation info. So, I did that and we all drove there to find a sign on the door that said "Closed on Sundays". We were disappointed that we didn't get to...

Our second time back to Exuma and back to the Bistro - and it did not disappoint! - the setting can't be beat, the wait staff was gracious and friendly, the property developer stopped by our table for an engaging chat, nice selection of menu choices from fish to beef to vegetarian - we were a table of 6 and...

My wife and I were not impressed by the food or the service at the Bamboo Bistro Restaurant. We both ordered the blacked grouper and it was clear that the chef did not know how to prepare this dish. The fish fillet was coated on one side with spices and it appeared that they put it under the broiler. The...
