When inside the restaurant, you are still on the beach. The floors are still all natural sand. The wait service bar is sunken so that you ate at eye level with the attendee. This place has better quality chairs in new condition, for sunbathing. And they provide complimentary beach towels which for me makes it worth the 15 or so... More

First time we tried it we sat in the shade in the comfortable couches. Cobb salad was huge, my son tried it the 1st time & my husband today. Herb crusted chicken sandwich was great. We just spent three month in PV and Swell became our go-to place for lunch. The beach chairs were often full when we arrived, but we always found a seat under the palapa. Nice people and great food. Try the Greek salad (huge!), the fish sandwich and the onion rings.

The salads are wonderful, the staff friendly, black bean/guacamole nachos are the least expensive and best on the beach...a great bloody caesar, too...

If you are Canadian, you will understand that drinking a Caesar while on holiday is the best thing ever!! It is impossible to find a Caesar in a foreign land.
