Nori's place is just about the epitome of the GTO restaurant. Think about it - he gets students, gringos, older folks, couples, Asians, Europeans. And his place is pretty much a hole in the wall in a tiny back alley! But his food is so good, so well presented, and so competitively priced that no one can hold a candle...

Food was only so so and the service unorganized and slow, but the place is cute and it is nice to sit at the outside tables and eat something a bit different.
When my husband and I tried this restaurant there really wasn't much of an alternative in the way of Japanese food in Guanajuato. (See my other reviews for some better options).

Don't let your first glance turn you off. Delica Mitsu is a tiny casual little "joint" with some of the freshest and flavorful lunchtime food in town. Choose a 3 or 4 item bento to try a variety of the dishes from the deli case -- the Japanese potato salad is the best ever, the miso and vegetable soup is...

This is a Japanese restaurant that is excellent. It can be hard to find, but well worth the quest. Lunch specials are a wonderful to try 3-5 different dishes. Great tastes...give it a try.
Was a little suspicious that a restaurant in an "alley" could be good, but they aren't alleys in Guanajuato, they're callejones. And YES, everything we had was fantastic (miso, spring rolls, sushi). Service was not at all speedy, but nothing about our time in Guanajuato could be described as such. Take your time and enjoy some REALLY GOOD FOOD!
I have visited this restaurant before and it keeps getting better. Fresh new dishes and presentation, and a very friendly service is what makes this restaurant one of my favorites in downtown area. This restaurant really stands out among the restaurants nearby. Try the rice balls or the mushrooms breaded in panko.
We went looking for this place a couple of times. Has a couple of tables outside the building just off the plaza. The Japanese fair was fantastic, the staff friendly and the cook open to descussing some of his sauces with us. Well worth the seach!
Best Japanese food in town... but go early because they run out of food.
