Had a late lunch .... tocos and a beer. Food was ...OK ... I found the restaurant to be dark. No view. Did not return as there are much better choices in Guanajuato.

We read a lot of good reviews about El Abue and were very excited to eat lunch there. There are few good restaurants in Guanajuato but El Abue is one of the best. The food is DELICIOUS and they are the only place that has good wine that is not overpriced. We will always come back to this place. It's intimate and the service is excellent!

They had a 2 for 1 cocktail offer. Sadly, they have no clue how to prepare cocktails. Live music was great. Food was nothing special and too pricey. Used to be THE place to go..,then it got a new owner.

ABUE is beautiful inside with well thought out decoration, lighting, interior design and atmosphere. We were a bit turned off when we were presented with a stock menu that made it obvious that this was a chain. But when we got our food we were very pleasantly surprised. All of the ingredients were fresh and dishes were definitely made to order. The price was reasonable and there was a good variety. Recommended!

Restful atmosphere. Medium priced, set meal available. Delicious soup! wine list. Just above the Plaza Baratillo.
