Really great food. We had beef tacos that "were outstanding", chile rellenos, and some of the best chicken mole enchiladas I've ever had. Service was very good too.

Very convenient location....wonderful family-owned hotel. You will get excellent service and a great price while staying in Isla Mujeres.
Both the sea food and mexican menu are excellent at Compadres. Located in the first floor of Hotel Bucaneros, its convenient to everything in the downtown area. Umberto and his partners are wonderful hosts, and make you feel as though you are 'one of the family' when dining at Compadres....highly recommended!
We have been to Isla about 15 times. Once we discovered Bucaneros on our third trip, we have never stayed anywhere else. The hotel is reasonably priced, clean, and safe. The family that runs it is wonderful and friendly. If you are looking for a hotel in the heart of downtown, we highly recommend Bucaneros! Full disclosure: Like all hotels... More

The food offered was well rounded, including pizza and pasta. Service was quick and attentive. My wife had a pasta dish and I had a vegetarian dish. Both... More

The menu caters to all tastes and they will prepare your dish to your liking. Pasta is awesome as well as the pizzas....gives you a taste of something other than all the mexican food, but... More
