Paul is great, and so is his little cafe'! Great morning coffee, great afternoon iced blended frappe, and no i don't want any more sugar on this trip, but then Paul pulls out this great looking chocolate concoction, so, okay, i'll have just a small slice . . . paradise!!! Great conversation with Paul and sitting back and visiting with... More

The coffee in this place is excellent. We tried the coffees, frapes and lattees and all were delicious. My favourite was definitely the caramel frappe. The owner Paul from London is a great guy and gave us great advice on nearby restaurants and attractions. This place is more of a takeout stop but there are 2 tables to sit inside... More

This was my second trip to Playa and I had the good fortune to visit Paul whenever I could for my afternoon coffee. His coffee is always fresh, rich and satisfying. He is a most charming and delightful man and always ready to help those new in town. His prices are very reasonable compared to other places in town. Can't... More

So glad we found Paul's Coffee Stop on our recent stay - we made it a daily routine. Paul's coffee is rich and flavorful, grown in Mexico and locally roasted. The generous servings were priced much lower than comparably sized Starbucks. We enjoyed a freshly prepared and delicious egg sandwich and salmon & bagel. There are many other food selections available.... More

We visit Playa yearly and couldn't have been happier to have found Coffee Stop. We enjoyed many Latte's and great conversations with Paul (the owner who is extremely friendly). From where we were staying it was a bit of a walk for us but as we passed other coffee shops along the way we were just not willing to compromise.... More

The gentleman who was working there (maybe the owner) was very friendly and made us some really good coffee (which we were desperately craving). He made some good restaurant recommendations too.

We came here after reading the excellent reviews, and I can agree with the comments regarding the quality of the coffee. I ordered a cafe latte, and it was indeed excellent, with just the right amount of foam. My Spanish is pretty good, but somehow much of what we ordered and what got delivered were decidedly different things. I ordered... More

We've contacted this customer via TripAdvisor messages to apologise and explain the mix-up. The salmon bagel is part of a lunch special which was ordered for breakfast. The muffin is included in a breakfast special and was prepared by mistake. Although understandably awkward, we can't rectify a mistake if we're not made aware of it. Judging from other feedback we...
