The view is incredible! This is the first place I bring guest visiting us in San Miguel. The mole enchiladas are amazing, so is the white fish with goat cheese, spinach and green sauce. Yummy!!

We ate dinner here twice during our week in San Miguel. The first time was a definite 5; the waiter was delightful, the food and drinks were excellent, and the ambiance was lovely (despite the very loud group of American ex-pats "sharing" the local gossip with the entire restaurant). There are nice views, but as much as the views, we...

The tamarind margaritas and posole alone are worth a trip from the US. Views of the city (not of the parroqia) from the rooftop dining terrace are fantastic
Ate here on our last night in SMA. It is a sweet hidden gem. We loved the upstairs garden patio with a view of the Parrochia. The food was really great! The best meal we had. We ordered the Azteca Soup, the chicken enchiladas verde, and the grilled vegetables with goat cheese which was huge. That with 3 margaritas and...

Get a table outside at the edge of the terrace, overlooking Cuna de Allende and the orange steeples of the Parroquoia. The margaritas here are some of the best in town; small but very strong. The salsas and chips they provide when you sit down are delicious as well. Pozole is the house specialty. They also have a nice selection...

We found this little rooftop restaurant right on Cuna de Allende. Has an East and West exposure, so you can view sunset unobstructed, and then enjoy the Parroquia lit at night next door. Food was quite good and the service as well. Good wine list with a large section of Mexican wines as well as the rest of the world....

We loved the setting and views from the roof top seating. The spinach and manchego burrito appetizer was to die for. But I ordered a main of prawns in garlic and lime. It came with oranges instead of lime - instead of the piquant lime and garlic mixture the whole thing was doused in a sweet orange juice that I...

After reading about La Posadita on tripadvisor and, having a special occasion to celebrate, we figured it was the perfect night to go. Everything, from the guacamole starter to the oaxaquena black bean soup and chicken enchiladas, was excellent. Beers were cold and margaritas made from scratch. We were lucky enough to catch a fireworks show from the La Posadita...

We found La Posadita via tripadvisor (thanks for that, by the way) and it was the perfect location for a reunion with our daughter and her novio here in SMA. We have no complaints at all - go there!
After winding our way upstairs, we were pleasantly surprised at the rooftop garden dining with great views. We found a lovely shaded table, and as we were seated our drink order was taken. Service was nicely paced and the food was delicious with generous portions. The Cochinita Pibil was mildly sweet, tender and juicy. The fish tacos were fresh, tasty...
