We found the experience to be unfriendly and the food was average. There are much better places in the area that offer better atmosphere, better service, and certainly better food.If you are only in the area for a short time, pass on this place !!

Nice place to enjoy a meal. I was so happy that we got to eat there twice during our stay. Funny that our group of 5 all ordered the same meal both times because it was so good. Take a nice stroll there to help burn off those calories. :) Margarita's on the rocks are VERY strong.

Great fajitas at a reasonable price. May need reservations during winter season! Located on the water, you may want to ask for mosquito spray if it is very humid.

I think it suffers from the many nicer choices available in Nuevo. Food and service are fine but being on the canal seems to be more rustico than their place right on Basilio Badillo.

We eat at Fajita Republic every time we visit Puerto or Nuevo Vallarta. You can count on good service, good food and fair prices. Their restaurant in Puerto Vallarta is equally as good. However, we don't recommend their lobster since it seems to always come out over cooked and rubbery.

If your in the area this is were you want to eat. Food is great. And the price is right. I send all my groups there and never had a problem. They have on in Vallarta also.
