This place was suggested by our lodge. Finally an affordable place with great food. We shared a bison burger with a side salad and the soup of the moment. Our server was very friendly. Food was tasty. Beer was cold. What more could you ask for? Make sure you get seated by a window.

Bill Peytos is nothing special but it is nothing bad either. The variety of food is good, the service not bad and the price great for portion size and what you get. It's a nice change for apres or early dinner after a day on the ski hill. We visited a while ago for breakfast, but if the burrito is... More

I make a point of stopping at Bill Peytos every time Im in town or passing through. The food and service is always outstanding. It's the cheapest place to eat in town and you get huge portions for your money. All the people that have left a bad review on here must just need attention, because the many many times... More

The quality of the food was a huge disappointment, I was not expecting gourmet but the burgers, and souvlaki were really overcooked. The chicken Caesar salad sat under the heat lamp way too long while the other food was being prepared. There was nobody else in the cafe but we managed to wait a really long time ( I timed... More

In Canada for a business trip its often difficult to find somewhere hearty to eat. This place has soul. When I entered the restaurant was packed - always an excellent sign. I ordered spag bol which came with a generous helping of garlic bread. It was so tasty and such good value I wish I could take Bill Peyto's Cafe... More

We decided to seek out Bill Peyto's Cafe based on the reviews and based on the fact that there is such limited selection in the Lake Louise area, as well we did not want to try the Fairmont as their dishes were $50/entree. As per the address it said that it was in the Hostel International buildings; we were walking... More

We decided to try Bill Peyto's Cafe having read other reviews on Tripadvisor. We weren't looking for fine dining or a three course meal at a smart restaurant and really just wanted a simple, light meal. We both chose the Caesar salad and were sadly disappointed. If you wanted a heavily (mayonnaise) laden and filling salad with mushrooms, peppers and... More

I went here a couple times and the atmosphere was always great but the service was only so so. The first time I went here we got a waitor who did not seem like he cared much about his job. He took a long time to serve us even though the restuarant was not very busy. I was slighty hung... More

This restaurant is attached to the Family Hostel in Lake Louise. It is right outside the little village of Lake Louise. The prices for a great meal range from 10 to 13 dollars. We love the chilli which is a meal big enough for two people. We also enjoy the greek salad. The beer is cheap, about $6 for a pint. They... More
