If you LOVE meat this is the place for you! You can order their Charcut board which is overflowing with a variety of cured meats, to the largest burger I've ever seen, to a variety of meat-centric entrees! Some must eats include the raclette - warm cheese served with house made brioche. As well as their cheesecake which is served... More

Okay, let's get the "complaint" (such as it is) out of the way: The portions are small for the price. Everything else is fantastic. Really great service and really good food. I was in touch with Jean Francois and Co. a few times prior to the reservation because our dates and numbers kept changing. They remembered all the communications via... More

Interesting menu, but very limited. Food is good but not outstanding. The restaurant is geared towards the 30's crowd, music is quite loud for dining. Portions are fine, all side dishes are a la carte with only 4 choices. There are only two unisex bathrooms so be prepared to wait your turn and no paper towels to dry your hands.... More

Chacut's chefs...Connie and John are the toast of Canada. The food is incredibly delicious and the prices are very reasonable. It's the go to restaurant if you are ever in Calgary. I have had the pleasure of eating there on several occassions and the food is always high quality. Congratulations to Connie DeSouza for being chosen as Canada's Best Chef... More

The food was good. Some items better than others but the server explained the format of the meals for us and we ended up with way too much food by taking his advice. I liked the atmosphere and like I said, the food was good, but for the price we paid I expected it to be outstanding.

The service and the food were really good. We went there to celebrate my birthday and when the server found out, he gave me a complimentary dessert with a candle. The food was delicious and I love that the change the menu often.

I am a pedantic picky chef who is rarely pleased by restaurant meals. I searched out Charcut because of its reputation and press in the Canadian media while in Calgary on business for one night. I was pleasantly surprised. Nice wine list, perhaps a bit on the dear side, but well chosen interesting varieties. Dining alone, I started with the... More

So. . . I went in expecting to be amazed. I mean, Connie was on Top Chef, so it should be amazing, right? It wasn't. If you're a foodie who can cook. . . well, I felt like it was all overpriced and dishes that I could have easily made at home.

Great menu! Loved the soft pretzels and chimichurri steak. Nice wine list. Bret Hart was dining here when we were.
