Came here with a few friends and the sushi was great. There was a wide choice to pick and it came quickly. I would come back here again.
I honestly have no idea why it is one of the highly ranked Japaense restaurants in Calgary. At the sushi bar, they fry your tempura and rolls right in front of you and you can smell the oil (not pleasant at all). Also I've seen a number of hygiene issues that should not happen in any restaurant. Service was slow,... More
The food is always good . I have be here at least 20 times over the last 8 years and the food has always been good. it is kind of fast food but its fresh and what needs to be hot is . good fun for Sushi
The sushi, tempura, miso and sunomono are the usual dishes I order from Kinjo. The food is consistent each time I've been there, but it's never been a Japanese restaurant that leaves a memorable experience. The free Pocky is what I always think about when I think of Kinjo. Quality and service !!! I can ensure my experience with Kinjo Sushi&Grill has been the best always. I prefer Kinjo than any other option in Calgary. Happy costumer every time.... is a very family and friends oriented with nice sushi floating bar and few tables. Environment is great, but more important, the menu is fantastic and the prices are fair.... More
Lots of options, good portion size (sashimi), friendly staff. Place is too small. KInd of difficult to eat in the bar sitting elbow to elbow with strangers. Food is so good that people are willing to eat there in these conditions and the place is always packed. We highly recommend the new branch in Dalhousie.
Fun and entertaining experience. We sat at the bar with the sushi boats going by. The waitress was very nice and helpful to explain the menu to us and how to order. I will say that it was difficult to tell what was going by us. We kinda had to guess and then pull it off. I liked the idea... More
