great curried chicken and can order it just the way one likes it , the service was great and all the food fresh

I went there two months ago and was blown away. I came back last week and the portion sizes were halved and it didn't taste as amazingly as before. I give it 3.5 out of 5

Recently renovated interior very pleasant. Best spicing and flavours in Indian cooking I have experienced in a smaller restaurant.

Turning up at the restaurant, we were not expecting much, but we were pleasantly surprised by the decor and the warm welcome. We were with a couple who were not familiar with east Indian cuisine, but our lady server was patient and made suggestions in a nice way( not trying to up sell). Food was very good, the better of other east Indian places I have been in Nanaimo. Price was very good, shared a bunch of dishes with people and everyone was satisfied. Service could be better, they were friendly, just very slow, and it seemed people who got there after us were eating first. Would definitely go again though!
