Whenever we're in Nanaimo, Pho a Dong is a main stop. Great exercise to the top of the hill from the marina. Very good Vietnamese flavours and a nice selection of items on the menu. Love their spring-rolls and they are always served fresh from the fryer, not warmed up. Salad rolls are very good as well. Soups are awesome...

Always great, affordable Vietnamese food with friendly and fast service! My favourites are always spring rolls and salad rolls! Yummy! The location is great as it is right near the Old City Quarter! Not sure what there hours are though as it seems I have often gone and it is closed.

This restaurant is one of the only place in Nanaimo that I would never hesitate to go. The food is always great and the pho broth never ceases to amaze me. The price is very good (~12 dollars for a bowl of pho) which makes it very nice for a student such as me. Only bad thing I should mention...

I have frequented this little homey restaurant for several years. The food is fresh & clean tasting.
My favourite dish is their chicken or seafood hot pot. When, we were in Asia this dish was called clay pot.

Best Asia place in downtown, if you are on the north side try the Pho Boy, the rest are not in the same league. I love the soups here. Great value for money, their is finer dining in town but not at these prices. Love it!

My buddy has been getting the number 21 I think (pork on noodles with some vegetables and spring rolls)
Simply amazing. You mix the remaining fish sauce into the meal and add hoisin and chili sauce to taste. Then simply enjoy
