Went there after building a good appetite by walking in stanley park. Ordered their famous porchetta and their daily special which was a meatball with pesto and spicy tomato sauce. Ordered a soup and a salad to go with that....
Only one thing to say.... Best sandwich ever!
Very tasty. Very tender meat. Loads of meat. Good bread. What more...

The best sandwich in the world!
Simple but caring about their ingredients. The drinks are no the usual but kind cool to pair it with.
Great athmosfere and decor, I like the I like the idea of sharing a big table, as long as we have good space! And we did!
The branding is really cool!

I had passed by this restaurant several times due to the line up out side. Frankly this was worth the wait. I saw them featured on DDD's and had to try it out. It did not disappoint. Such a simple menu, Several sandwiches, I had to try their Porchetta: Salsa Verde sandwich which was a good sandwich for $8.00.

This is an 'experience' and you feel about as hip and you can get being in line for a sandwich at Meat & Bread. Gorgeous food, great staff, lots of passion and beautiful restaurant. And amazingly efficient system for seating (I never thought I would get a seat but it miraculously appeared when I finished paying). Great concept and wonderful...

This literally is a "meat and bread" place. Don't expect anything fancy, just good food with good ingredients. I had the porchetta, especially good with the crispy cracklings... also had the cauliflower and bacon soup, which was also excellent. There's a limited menu... I think they have two regular sandwiches and a special and a couple of soups available. But,...

We ate here after reading all the reviews and aren't disappointed. We arrived early for lunch (although the queues had already started to form) and the service was very quick and efficient. We had a beef special and a porcetta. Both delicious and fresh with plenty of filing. Not much seating but definitely a place to go if you want...

On a break from a conference we ventured down the hill from the Queen Elizabeth Theatre and serendipitously happened upon "Meat & Bread". There was a bit of a line up but it went quite quickly. We were greeted at the door and advised of the "house rules" so to speak and made our selections (it's a limited menu -...
