Got this recommendation from the magazine in the hotel room, and boy, were they right! The food was really good. We ate in the bar, as we hadn't made a reservation ahead and it was Saturday night. The server was great, friendly, super helpful, steered us in the right direction as we wanted to try several things on the menu....

This is one of my favorite brunch places... The options are across the spectrum, if you want a great egg white scramble they have it, or you can opt for short ribs, poached eggs, and hollandaise. They always have fresh crab so if you are in the mood for a crab benny that is an excellent choice as well. I...

Tried the Yew for dinner. Had only ever been for their spectacular brunch. Delicious food, and lovely non-intrusive service.
Panko crusted oysters for an appie are yummy, but could easily be shared by 2.
Lobster chowder yummy!
Beef tenderloin and crab were to die for. Tender, juicy, rich and amazing.
Yellowfin tuna special, tasty.
Great cocktails to start! Good wine...

Shrimp eggs Benedict with brown butter hollandaise. All delicious. Lots to share with each other. Dessert included. I enjoyed the Chocolate mouse with caramel popcorn and homemade gelato and my husband enjoyed his...

This was not our first time at Yew, so we knew to expect great service, which we did indeed have.
Drink/cocktail menu was great and extensive.
My husband's meal, off the regular menu, was excellent.
I had the apple salad to start and the quinoa with smoked tofu off the vegan menu (I am vegan).
Apple Salad: yup, lots of...

Our server commented that we needed more pita bread as we had so much dip leftover. When we received our bill it was $4.00 extra for the pita bread. Felt this was wrong, should have been notified of...

I was taken here for my birthday dinner and I can't wait to go back. Firstly we had to ring twice to push back our reservation (because I was taking too long to get ready) and they were so nice about it. All the staff always have a smile on their face and are so friendly. The food is AMAZING!...

Our original plan was to have cocktails while we decided where to dine. We had instead an excellent meal including dessert. The service was excellent and everyone was very friendly and helpful with recommendations.
I went to Yew with my husband. Not knowing that they have a vegan menu I was worried that this will be one of those nights that I am going to have to eat a heavy, meaty meal. To my surprise they have a vegan menu. I ordered the tomato and artichoke dish and I loved it.
My husband ordered...
