Great place to eat significantly smaller than the Roundhouse, good food, with an outdoor BBQ when the sun is shining.
We have visited over a period of 13 years & this is our favourite. We usually go for the same thing, chic pea veg stew and moroccan chic pea beef stew. Very warming & tasty. We stopped here each morning after laying fresh tracks down a few runs. The carmel rolls are literally to die for yummy! We make it an annual visit and it fuels us for the morning. $18 for a breadbowl soup and a bottle of soda? And then the breadbowl wasn't even of a decent quality. Come on... At least the soup tasted good. Guy who served me was friendly at least.
Chic Pea is at the bottom of the Upper Whisky Jack run on Whistler Mountain. Same prices as the Round House however generally not as busy. They do not allow you to take your own food in but on th plus side the food tends to be fresher and a bit more love put into it.
an easy ski down from the roundhouse - and much much quieter. more like a european mountain restaurant - choice of salads, pizzas soups etc.away from the madding crowds!
Wow....wish I found this place earlier. Saw this on tripadvisor the night before and saw reviews of their famous Cinnamon Buns and had to swing by.
