Food was excellent. Mostly sea food oriented but there were some selections for "meat and potato" folks. Service was outstanding as was the quality and presentation of the food. Across from Fort Anne so an evening walk proved to be very beneficial to help digest the excellent meal. Many thanks.

We had a mother's day special with a Prix fixe menu. There was a choice of appetizer, main course and desert. Well prepared and presented. Prompt service. Pleasant dining room in older house. Wines were good enough, though most wine is over-priced these days.

Very welcoming and friendly. Comfortable spacious room and a great bed. The evening meal was spectacular and complemented with world class local wine! I didn't want to leave!

We ate at the Garrison house before heading off to the cemetery tour. The service was great and the food was awesome. The prices were good and the location is handy to the cemetery for those of you interested in the tour. I would eat here again.

I was shocked to see some poor reviews on this restaurant. Three of us dined here and we all agreed it was superb. My husband and I had the same dishes as another woman described previously - scallops and shrimp in a basil sauce, and scallops with pasta. Mine was the scallops with shrimp dish and I absolutely loved it.... More

I wish I could remember her name. She has lived there all her life and seemed so genuine, i left her a 25% tip.

We recently stopped in on our way to another b&b. It was a little late for a normal service (after 8pm) and we had no reservations, however the host was very accomodating and friendly with us. The special (a scallop and shrimp in light cream sauce) with fresh vegetables and potatoes, and my husbands order of fresh Digby scallops, sun... More

We recently dined at the Garrison House and it continues to be a favourite. Good service, great food and pleasant ambience! We each enjoyed a salad - one of local tomatoes and the other with mixed greens, beets and feta. Both were superb! One of us had haddock for a main and the other a filet steak. Again cooked to... My comments will be very similar to many others who experienced a disappointing meal at this location. As this was not our first choice for dining this past Sunday evening while in Annapolis Royal, our first choice was not open that evening, we decided to try The Garrision House Inn. We were hesitant about dining here because of the poor... More

This small restaurant, recommended by the owners of the Bed and Breakfast we stayed in, served large servings of delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed the service and food offered.
