For me, service is key. The service was excellent! The food was savory, well seasoned and the portions were just right. Add to this, the variety that a visitor has at this restaurant is good as well. We left the restaurant full and satisfied and we still had money in our pockets - what a value. We would most definitely... More

My husband and I went here for dinner. Highly recommend the antipasti for two! My husband have the shrimp & chorizo pasta and loved it. I had the honey thyme pork- wonderful with delicious roasted vegetables . Our server was outstanding. Highly recommend this place- prices are reasonable too!

My wife and I usually go here when visiting Niagara-on-the-lake. It's located downtown in a prime location, it doesn't look fancy from the outside and the interior décor is a little dated but it's nice and clean. They have some seating by the windows that are nice to get if possible, your should be prepared for some cold air though... More

We had dinner here on our recent visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Ate good sized salads, pizzas (margherita and pepperoni), and then chocolate cake for dessert. All were excellent. The waitress recommended a wonderful NIagara Riesling which I thoroughly enjoyed! A little pricey (though most of the restaurants in town are) but a lovely meal overall. We were seated by the window,... More

This was our second visit to Bistro 61 and we throughly enjoyed it each time. The staff is friendly and the food is casual fare and delicious. We had a salad and their brick oven pizza on each visit along with a glass of wine. The poirtions are good (not overwhelming) and their prices are good. It's a nice spot... More

We went here to have dinner, we'd been to the Angel Inn and although good, is very lively and we wanted somewhere a little quieter. My partner and I shared Duck Poutine, the Meat Pizza and Creme Brulee. The Duck Poutine was a surprise, wasn't expecting it to be quite like that from the description, the duck was tasty but... More

Right on Queen St. in the heart of the little town is this incredible gem! Decent pricing for wonderful food! The Asiago Artichoke Dip appetizer was out-of-this-world. People walking by our waitress with her delivery of this app also mentioned how amazing it simply looked!!!! The Margherita Pizza was next to perfect. I offered my services to the waitress to... Should have guessed by the many open tables. Had a small pizza to split with my wife. It was fine, seemed like fresh ingredients, crust was ok, not special. It seemed a little dated in side. So much competition in NOTL...I could see this doing better in any other town.

We had delicious wood-fired oven pizzas. The BBQ chicken pizza was sweet and spicy, the meat-lovers was wonderful with a good selection of meats. Split pea and ham soup and great beer rounded out a fantastic meal.

Came here for lunch and was greeted fairly well to start. Once we sat we noticed how many bugs were crawling around. We got the Caesar salad which was the worst we've ever had, especially for $8.00. To make things worse, the salad had fruit flies in it. Once we were served we were ignored for the rest of our... More
