Last month I drove to Toronto airport picked up my mom, drove straight back to Sudbury stopped in at Ripe. Best calamari appetizer so far in Sudbury, my pasta dish chorizo and salmon a great combination. Moms pizza the capricossa better know to us Italians as quattro stagioni was really really good.

Other friends rave about this place so I tried it, but had the chicken and it was bland. Just my opinion, but my husband had pork and didn't feel there was enough.

Ripe is such a good place to go on impulse for dessert when you're out for the evening. The Pecan encrusted bread and butter pudding is always perfect. The pizzas are creative and the main menu a delight. We are so lucky to have Ripe in Sudbury.

A lovely little place where you can relax and enjoy great food, prepared just the way you want it, nicely served. The decor could be "upped" a bit, but it certainly doesn't detract from the delicious food.

High quality food (and desserts !) at great value. Chef Mark never disappoints. The menu is varied enough to satisfy pasta lovers, wood-oven pizza lovers and carb-conscious diners, who enjoy fine Italian fare.

I really enjoyed this restaurant, I can sum up my experience this way: excellent Italian food, ambiance and very good service.
