This wonderful spot is close by work, and we often go for a relaxed lunch. There are some places to sit inside and in the summer, there's a cute patio. Food is wonderful and fresh, selection is wonderful. From sandwiches, soups and salads to cakes and tartes; everything is wonderful!
Okay, so yeah, the macarons and croissants are TO DIE FOR. We came at the top of the morning, so they were SUPER FRESH. Though we were in a time crunch, we managed to get 1 chocolate custard croissant ($5), and a dozen of their famous macarons ($25).
All of the macarons were delicious! :) With an airy initial bite,...

The open face sandwiches and macarons are amazing! The coffee is really good too. There is almost a constant line up for the pastries and sandwiches and for good reason. The packaging has great presentation so it's always a treat to take something to go.
Let me begin by saying, I'm a huge fan of Nadege; however, I value consistency in the things I love.
My craving for macarons started last week with 'National Macaron Day.' I swear, it's for real. Then this morning, a friend of mine checks into Nadege on FB and I'm sold. Today is the day to tame that macaron craving....

Ordered 2 each of chocolate raspberry, salted caramel, and pistachio.Took a expectant bite of one. Mmmm....perfect light crunch cookie, but the fillings were way too sweet for my palate, I...

I tried 4 items there
Croissants - crispy flaky crust, interior can be a bit more flaky. 4.5 / 5
Macarons - seems the filling was overwhelming the cookie in both flavours that I tried. 3 / 5
Mini canales - had a crispy, slightly burnt bottom (which is the top when they were baking) as they should be -...

I only had the macaroons, but they were as good or better than any I have had in France. I will go here any time I am in Toronto for a sweet bite. The next time I will have to try a few more goodies.
I found Nadege to be perfect for what it is, a place to pick up a sandwich and some sweets on the run. You can't find the type of sandwiches they make (nice croissants, delicious and varied meats, amazing cheeses) for the reasonable price and superb quality of Nadege. You can see from the other reviews that the macrons are...
