In downtown Charlottetown, yet set back off the street a bit, which was nice. We were able to park right out front and the food and service were very good. We enjoyed our Italian dishes; the Mona Lisa and the Conchiglie Maly, all in a quiet and traditional Italian atmosphere.
I'm not prone to superlatives, but this restaurant is the finest, authentic, Italian cuisine that I have experienced in Canada. There was a wide selection of antipasti that reflected Italy and PEI local specialties. The "Mussels in Love", a pernod cream sauce, were particularly superb in taste and generous in number. While the decor left a bit to be desired, the service was impeccable and the food was amazing! It was well-priced for what you got!
The service was excellent here. Waiter always ensured your glass was full and that you were satisfied with everything. The low lit atmosphere was nice and the music was perfect volume. The food is definitely worth what you pay.
I spent 9 night in Charlottetown and this by far was best of all the places I ate at! A charming place to eat with good (lobster pasta) food and great service!

It is the type of restaurant you want to return to eat the same menu because you are afraid to try something different. You must have the Ravioli della Duchessa di Parma and the chocolat pudding. The service is fine but not as friendly as you expect from an Italian restaurant.
We went here for lunch as an alternative to the plethora of pub food outfits in downtown Charlottetown. The food was excellent, service was wonderful, and it was good value as well. We will be returning when we come back to Charlottetown.
Yes it's a great Italian restaurant, the owners are from northern Italy and it's offer a small cozy setting. Popular with locals who want Italian, very reasonably priced.
