My wife and I were looking for a place to eat tonight tonight to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. We found this place from Tripadvidor and agree with the comments. The food was wonderful!

This place has amazing food and a really nice ambiance. It has a good variety of French dishes worth trying. The service was very good and the prices were reasonable. Try it and you won't regret it.
This is a wonderful restaurant. Beautiful food and friendly people. The escargot and the duck were both excellent. Do not miss this one. I would make a reservation.
We chose this restaurant based on the reviews we read on tripadvisor. Price range is listed as $15 to $20 which would be more accurate if it stated $40 to $50 if you have a couple of glasses of wine. Service was excellent. No feeling of being rushed in order to turn the table. Excellent presentation of food. Everyone's tastes...

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Bistro Duo D. The menu is small but everyone should be able to find something to their liking. We both had the French onion soup. It was superb. I had the steak frite. The steak was tender, very flavourful and was cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the steak tartar. He enjoyed...

I decided i'd pay this Griffitown bistro after learning of its strong tripadvisor credentials on QuebecalaCarte.net . I must say, I was not dissapointed with the decision. There is little to add to what's already been stated, so I'll simply say: the duck is in a league of its own in Montreal. That reason alone will demand a visit if...

After reading reviews for this place, we sent there and had a fabulous meal! The duck confit was the BEST EVER!! The service was great...attentive, but not overbearing. Small menu but good choices. Only thing I wouldn't order again was the chocolate dessert.....didn't like the crunchier in the mousse, but the chocolate flavor was excellent. I wish I had a...

Based on other TA reviews, we decided to try this little bistro out on Saturday evening, even if it was slightly out of the main tourist route. We had made a reservation earlier in the week and were promptly greeted and seated when we arrived at this cute little bistro that reminded us of being tucked away in Paris. Catherine,...

The restaurant is a bit out of the way in terms of the main tourist areas of Montreal, but the location probably helps explain the very reasonable prices. On a cold day, a cab is the best way to get there. The service (from the wife of the husband-wife team) is at a relaxed pace but prompt when needed. Translation...

This was our favorite restaurant in Montreal, all things considered. This is a small restaurant with a very high customer demand, so reservations are a must. We saw several people turned away that did not have reservations. The food and service is flawless. It is not fancy, but the food is truly gourmet and as a bonus the prices are...
