I love going to Tapas each time I am in Canmore. The service is always excellent, and the ambience is amazing in this tiny neighborhood gem. We were recommended a few new menu items this time around, and they did not disappoint. I will continue to reserve a table here each future trip!

We stayed right next door at the Paintbox Lodge and after we were unable to get into our first choice late that Friday, we decided to try this place. To be honest, the food was quite good and the service was fantastic. The place is a bit small and the prices were a bit steep, but given the location it's... More

As others have noted, the room is small and dark, but we liked the ambiance on the ground floor. Our waiter was friendly and helpful without being smarmy. We enjoyed the variety of tastes available. My girlfriend loved the poached pear salad. I liked the goat cheese parfait, the chorizo and figs and especially the marinated garlic beef morsels, which... More

My partner and I have really enjoyed the tapas experience in Spain & Italy so are always keen to find similar restaurants in and around Calgary. However, this restaurant was rather a disappointment. Nothing specific but the interior was small & dark and the tables very close together. We were sitting upstairs and I felt very sorry for the waitress... More

Great food and respectful of Gluten Free requests. Would appreciate a little more light in the dining area.

We went with some friends on a pre-Christmas weekend getaway to Canmore and decided to enjoy a meal at Tapas. We were not disappointed! The portions were generally pretty good for sharing. Each serving was tasty, very unique flavours. Yes, it was a bit pricey, but we were spoiling ourselves. It was worth every penny! Small, intimate setting with great... More

We had a great evening at Tapas in Canmore. No rushing- great suggestions by the staff, generous plates for 2 or a good taste for 4 and wonderful Sangria! Loved the house the restaurant is in- we were upstairs and didn't find the sloped roof an issue but could see how it might be for a tall person. We would... More

We used to LOVE this place! Now sadly, we are disappointed by the food. The food is very heavy and rich and not as tasty as it once was. Not many options for vegetarians either. It is also expensive. The service, though good, was tainted when our party was asked to leave in order to accommodate the next seating! We... More

Came here with 3 friends, ordered several dishes, and we were all impressed by the size, good for sharing. Each dish we ordered definitely had enough to go around. Complaint, potas bravas... hashbrowns, highlights, pretty much everything else. I was following a strict food regimen, and the kitchen was able to accomodate me (altering menu items etc.) which I really... More
