Loved the location and music provided. Didn't like the closeness of the tables, too crowded for a small space.
I was in Collingwood for my Birthday with my two sisters and stopped by the Harbour st. Fish Bar. We originally were looking for a Wing place and decided to look further. When I mentioned that to the waitress, I heard a voice that said we have Wings here. I told my sisters to look no further and we had... More
We had the Halibut and Chips which is their specialty and it was very good. Not greasy at all and just the right amount of batter, it was served with fries which were also cooked well, without the greasiness. You could substitute the fries with a garden salad or a caesar salad. I had the garden salad with their homemade... More
The food here is terrible. Not sure who is writing these great reviews. The whitefish came battered with full skin on the fish. It was so fatty and stank horribly. We had to have it taken away. We still had to pay for it. This place will be out if business soon.
Great food, we had whitefish with salad and fries on the side. The fish and salad very tasty and fresh, fries just wonderful... Try it and you won't be disappointed
Yes, I said burgers. My mom is a burger connoisseur. She is extremely picky. She always tries the burger everywhere we go, questionning endlessly about the meat. Is it frozen? Do you make the patties here? Fresh? Do you charcoal broil it or fry it? And on and on. She didn't even ask the questions. It must have been a... More
We stopped in at this place for dinner tonight and had a surprisingly terrible experience. We tried to get into a few places closer to downtown, but the wait was too long. This place is in a nice new strip mall outside of Cranberry Resort and looked like a safe bet for a quick bite with the family. On the... More
We went to Harbour Street Fish Bar on a Thursday and they had one of the best live bands I've heard in the area. It was completely packed - they got us a table very quickly. I had the calamari which was great (portion size was somewhat small but the mains are massive) and the spring rolls, you get 6... More
This place was not in our original travel plan, but my boyfriend managed to find it via TirpAdvisor so we decided to give it a try before leaving the area. We're really glad that it was open on the holiday. The weather was great and we got to sit outside. The menu was an interesting presentation of the local products... More
We live around the corner from this place on weekends so we come here often. We have had one bad experience on a busy night (hence minus one star - wish I could just minus half a star) but otherwise it's always been excellent. If you are a fish and chips person you will be jubilant when you taste the... More
