A great place to go for a soup and sandwich at lunch - always fresh and reasonably priced. Particularly appealing if you can get an outside table and watch the world go by!

I waited an extremely long time for a London Fog to go - I almost left without it. No apology offered. The place is very small with half a dozen tables or so jammed in with little room to move and quite noisy. Nothing exciting on the menu and I would not sit there anyway. Good place for the workers... Unusual salad with chick peas and dried cranberries ( hold the sprouts).and a fantastic citrus dressing YUM YUM YUM!

Two fresh cooked eggs, lettuce, tomato, choice of meat and cheese. This ain't your golden arches breakfast sandwich. I've eaten these all over North American and this one has my top vote. We enjoyed delicious homemade soup and good sandwiches during our lunch break while cycling the Victoria-Sidney Galloping Goose/Lochside Trail. This small cafe, popular with local residents, has pleasant seating inside and out.
